Two Quality Greens, Open Every Day of the Year
One green with a newly laid carpet surface for a smooth, consistent roll. The other a durable synthetic that plays well in all conditions. Both are well maintained and available 365 days a year. A new screen keeps scores up to date between ends and doubles for watching live sport.

CHAMPIONSHIP EVENTS

Midlands hosts a wide range of club championship events for Women and Men designed to ensure there is an event of interest to all members. The Club’s match committee schedules the Club championships to take place throughout the bowling season, usually commencing mid-November with an all-members gala day, and reaching conclusions mid-February.
Bowls Australia
Bowls Australia (BA) is the national body governing lawn bowls, a not-for-profit run by a voluntary board that sets strategy for staff to deliver. Midlands is one of over 1,800 affiliated clubs, part of a national network of 600,000+ participants. BA is affiliated with World Bowls and Commonwealth Games Australia (lawn bowls is a core Commonwealth Games sport) and runs major tournaments like the Australian Open and Bowls Premier League.
Bowls Victoria
Bowls Victoria is the not-for-profit state governing body for bowls, focused on growing and developing Victoria’s most accessible sport. It handles governance, events, player development, rules, club services and communications for over 500 member clubs and 42,000+ registered players. Bowls Vic runs the Victorian Open, the state’s marquee tournament, and manages Victorian representative teams and world champion athletes.
Ballarat Highlands Bowls Region (BHBR)
The BHBR was formed in 2021 combining clubs from communities in the Ballarat and Central Highlands region, and is the local body responsible for administering, amongst other things, Tuesday & Saturday pennant competition, Regional championships etc. The region comprises 35 clubs participating in Pennant and Regional championships.

Social Bowls
Wednesday social bowls runs all year round, open to everyone. A welcoming group with a good mix of experience, and the bar and bistro are right there when you’re done.
Competitive Bowls
Pennant teams across multiple divisions, Tuesday and weekends. Regular fixtures, Saturday night presentations with raffles and prizes.
Barefoot Bowls
No experience needed, no gear required. A fun, social option that’s popular with younger groups, work teams and anyone up for a good afternoon out. From $10 per person.
